PPl it is completely a mathematical discovery..meaning how Quran is a mathematical miracle...it has nothing to do with religion and these numbers do not of course have the same sanctity as Arabic.
You can by all means use 786 for the Neeyat of Krishna…

Jab aap ki nazar main simple arabic main baat karna aur Kalamullah ki tilawat karna aik jaisa hai to issay main kiya keh sakta hon.
When we recite quraan, we RECITE THE KALAM OF ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TAA'LA thats why we get ten deeds for each word.
Not because we are speaking arabic language.
But when we are speaking arabic language its like speaking any other language.

That is my point......
Arabic Words are the same in appearance but their spiritual nature changes when recited as Quranic Words
We don't say that these numbers should be used instead of Arabic letters.....
But we need to understand that Mathematics is an Ilm and has got a very important role in our lives....
We don't prove Quran from Maths....but Maths is proved by Quran
