25+

Re: 25+

I don't know the answer to the question -- but I have noticed that when I first started teaching, students would automatically say "Miss" Siddiqui (even when I was married). Now they say "Mrs." I don't think that has to do with my age. It may be because I'm pregnant now.

Re: 25+

^You must have very smart and 'observant' students. All credit to you!

Re: 25+

its not the number but how you look, some still look teenager when they are in the 30s and some already look old when they are in their early 20s

Re: 25+

^ Yeah right only in your mind.. girls overs 28 onsider to be old and men over 35 consider to be old... yes you might hide your wrinkles by Botox but you can't beat your age.

Well, there are certain body size and shapes with natural structure of faces which may make any person look either older or younger than the true age.

For example an 18 year old girl who is large size may look like 30 years old or a 30 years old woman who is petite, well shaped may look like someone in early 20's.

Re: 25+

Some people say that the 30s are now like the new twenties. And others say that life begins at 40. Sounds good to me.

As far as looks are concerned, some people are in their 30s and look like their are in their early twenties or younger. Others are in their teens and 20s and appear as though they are in their 30s and 40s.

As far as personality is concerned, some people are in their teens and twenties and behave in an ancient manner. Others are middle aged and above and have the vivaciousness of a teenager.

It's all so subjective. I've heard people say that 25 is old. I've heard people say that 35 is young.

In the end, we only get one shot at every age, so try to live your life to the best of your ability and as happily and gratefully as possible. And try to help and bring happiness to others to add meaning to life. Things could always be worse.

am talking about genes not artificial layer ... have come across girls who are in 30s and look 20 and 20s who look early 30s.. its maturity that comes on to your shakal and shows, same goes for boys

I'm 29. I still get asked what grade I'm in!

In fact, this summer, some auntie was shocked to realize that I was married and 3 months pregnant because she had assumed I was in high school.

Re: 25+

^ but that won't hide the fact you are old? Yes you can look like a bachi but what is the reality regardless? That you are OLD..lol

Re: 25+

but what's wrong with being old? Why you guys are fussing about something that's not in your control, just age gracefully and be done with it. Period!

Re: 25+

I just thought of one more:

You're getting old when there's no question in your mind that there's no question in your mind.

Re: 25+

Sometimes stress can also make a person look older.

i don't think she's denying reality, or trying to hide the fact that she's "old", she's just saying that people get the impression that she is much younger.

let me know, my nose is crooked

WHAT?!

VERY UPSET! GS IS MY ONLY LIFE :frowning:

THANKS TLK :naraz:

you're right, that won't reduce your age in numbers but if you look young and fresh even in an old age it is always considered healthy.

Right. I don't hide my age. I'm just addressing the point made earlier that only plastic surgery and such things mask age. Sometimes people just naturally don't look their age.
