Beacon House school system has an excellent world record each year in their O levels and A levels. There are spoilt brats every where, i think a school should be rated on its teachers, their current training standards and the results of the school both in extra and co curricular activities.

I am contemplating a relocation from UK to Pakistan, but I am a bit weary of education system and the disciplines of the teachers.
Is corporal punishment still distributed to the children their?

skool is a skool…its dependz how sharp u r. i advice jus visit ny n feel u may fit in there or not…then dats da lucky one…give a shot to both so called angerzai n urdu medium though.

(i wish ma parent would have given me the choice :bummer:)

Nothing comes close the Islamabad Beaconhouse / Margalla Campus -- its the top school and the hardest to get into.

afia acctually i am also searching for good secondry schools of rawalpindi.i have heard that aps(Army Publiv School)is good school,but the admission tests r quite difficult!
CAN ANY ONE PLZ HELP ME BY TELLING THAT ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL IS AFFILIATED WITH WHICH BOARD AND WHAT ARE THE NAMES OF BOOKS OF PHYSICS,BIOLOGY,CHEMISTRY,MATHS AND ENGLISH FOR 9TH CLASS!!!!!!!!!!

I've studied at Army College and mine was affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad. So hopefully the Rawalpindi Campus would also be affiliated with the FBISE Islamabad.

The books! For matric they use the syllabus of Punjab Text Book Board Lahore. **And for O'Levels! Oxford Text...**

Salaams,

Theres a good english medium school in Islamabad (F11-3) which comes highly recommended. I have four children there and i am highly impressed in the way in which they have adapted coming from abroad.

They focus a lot on the children's personality grooming and fees are reasonable too.
