There is just one evil in Pakistan and that is Ben Laden.
He is the one sending suiciders to kill his non-wahabi, and non-Arab targets. And Pakistanis haven't zeroed in on him yet.
Add our terrible tribals in the mix and you got a deadly brew.

It is really disappointing to read lists such as this where pakistan is always in the top 20 of the most negative issues. Pakistan has a great land mass encompassing some of the world most beautiful and most scenic areas with a great history and a great and loving set of people. These are perfect reasons to visit a country YET the one thing tourists cant be provided is security. Yes there are huge problems in Pakistan which affect its very stability as a nation but on top of that it has an incompetent security force. Tourism is a great way to discover the assets of other cultures and learn about the world and it could have been a great way for Pakistan to have shown the world what it really is and not the biased ways it is shown to be. Those in the western world are shocked to see how beautiful Pakistan is when they see my collection of photos. Many travellers and writers even consider pakistan to be "the worlds best kept secret".
I have bumped into and spoken to many tourists in Hunza, Chitral, Lahore and even Quetta and frankly many did no thave problems there. Many travellers do the overland trip from Europe to India via Iran and then to Quetta.
Although I must say tourists felt most comfortable and realxed in Hunza and then next Chitral. They are the 2 most visited regions of Pakistan.
