Oh coooomeeee onnn…guns used for PEACE? Yeah right!! I still don’t agree, guns can be cruel and horrible…they’re nothing to be proud of! Their main purpose is to kill or injure another human being! urghhh…the sight of all these guns is making me sick!

in grade 4, i had written an essay on scientific inventions/human advancement in technology/firearms etc… here is its keypoints catty baji:

  • its not the INVENTION thats good or bad. it is its USAGE that categorizes it as a bad or good invention..
  • Alfred Nobel, the man behind Nobel-prizes-system, had invented Dynamite NOT for terrorist purposes, but to solve england’s and other leading nations’ (that time) problem for creating railway tracks and subway lines beneath surface and into mountains.. (HOWEVER later on military used it for entirely different purposes)

  • water is a neutralizer. put it in the form of rain and clouds, and its life. put it in the form of floods and lo.n.behold, # of ppl die from it..

so u c catty baji, its the USAGE and the FORM we tend to take technological advancements, devices and facilities.. that categorizes them as bad or good .. not THE ITEMS THEMSELVES =) …

put it this way, a tank (with a short barell for example) is usually found as the image of TRANSPORTATION in somebody’s mind (ON AVERAGE) and not a killing machine..

also, IF it was like that .. museums and traditional shows, history books, school colleges univerisities, NEVER would had made sections of firearms/wars… =)

wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, i fail to understand that how posting up images of technological advancements, firearms, and all that can be categorized/thought/taken as an idea of calling for a war-request baji..

M4 carbine is better than the M16. Its small and has same capabilities as that of M16.

When you say "smaller" what do you mean? Cos if the barrel length is shorter the bullet will have less velocity, and thus less less accuracy and penetrating power.

here is Mk 19 one of the best weapons there is. well in case u wana save urself. four of them can easily take care of a a infantry company.
