Original wall to ek hi hai. Rahul dravid. A true gentleman from what ive heard family friends say who live in same neighborhood as him in Bangalore. Completely down to earth. There was this reality show where they tried to make him bakra by getting a journalist to propose to him and getting someone to pose as her dad asking for marriage. He was completely cool, did not get flustered but gave her a talk on how she should focus on her studies and become something. He scolded the “pretend” dad for not telling his daughter she should focus on her studies.
For Indians I mean. I do recall the eldest of the Muhammad brothers had 300 plus run in an inning in Test and 400 plus in 1st class match. At least that’s my foggy memory. Didn’t know he was not very tall. Growing up, the two little master’s were Gavaskar and Vishwanath.
I see you are getting more comfortable in the forum. How do you like it so far during ur short experience here.
You are right and you can read in above link, Hanif scored 499 in a 1st class match and he got run out.
I have short experience on this forum but I love cricket from my childhood and always kept the records and photograph of my favorite cricketers. So now I spent my spare time while exploring some records and stories about old cricketers,
They were 4 brothers who played test cricket Hanif, Wazir, Mushtaq and Sadiq, there 5th brother Raees once played as 12 th man in a test match. Hanif’s son Shoaib Muhammad also played test cricket for Pakistan as an opener.
