Tried on so many lipsticks from this thread ... Most looked ridiculous but I ended getting Hot Tahiti, Russian Red and Brick-o-La! All 3 suit my skin tone nicely.

Ladies help me, going to the big city tomorrow and want to stock up on a few mac products... I've had the same blush and foundation for almost 2 years so will definately be replacing those.

All the colors mentioned here I have googled but they are way too strong for my personality. I've recently had twig and half n half. can anyone suggest any other colors in lipstick? Something that's wearable on a daily basis. I liked Mehr but i doubt that'd be available in Aus if it's a limited edition. I'm an NC 35 if that helps.

Ravishing is one of my all time faves. I like to tone it down a bit by using a light coloured gloss on top. Other peach ones you could try are Jazzed, Peachstock, Sandy B.

i use drugstore brands n alonst all are soo drying

I have ‘hover’ or did haven’t seen it in a while, you have reminded me of it now I’d say closest lipstick MAC shade would be ‘taupe’ - there could be another but I have paired it with taupe or hug me…but HM is much lighter, almost pinkish brown

Thanks for all your tips ladies, love this thread! On the back if your recommendations ive just purchased hot tahiti and girl about town and I love them, I'd never have previously thought of buying these colours but after all the good advice on here im so chuffed. Yayyyyyyy

I do not apply lipsticks but now I am thinking about applying some and I use Mac products only so want to know, Which Mac lipstick will suit to me, my face color is fair.

My favorites are: ruby woo, girl about town, freckletone, honey flower, angel, creme in your coffee, blankety, impassioned and modesty.

Which MAC lipsticks are best for jet black hair and fair skin. I find the only lipstick that suits me is soft brown shades. I want a mauve type of color. Any suggestions for a soft brown or mauve type of color. Thanks!

hug me is a soft pink/brown/nude, taupe is a lovely brown color, syrup is a mauve/pink that suits lots of skintones
