Too much?
For a teenager- 20 a day
For someone in 20's- about 15 in 24 hour day
For someone in thirties- 20 a week
For someone in 40's- 15 a week
For anyone older- 10 a week
For someone in 60's-70's even one a day is too much. Woman just curses him all through the act! :-)
........But if this man is married to 20 years old- He may wake up every hour popping viagra! And he becomes a teenager! In fact at any age man is teenager if marries to younger wife!

Good point. Actually I was going to ask this question if question is about too much sex on the mind or physical.
But when I read other answers I answered it as an act not just desire.
Off course desire may not go down but relatively speaking, sex on the mind does decreases with time since there are other things or concerns on the mind.
Given the time and environment suitable (and more attractive partner in some situations), desire becomes an act.
