Couple things… it isn’t just always me, the kid, and the dog. I have a large extended family who likes to visit regularly and I also… you know… have a social life lol which I’m sure some might find hard to believe. Yesterday I had 6 people stop by for dinner. Secondly, because my time is limited, I employ as many time saving measures as possible. I’m the sole breadwinner for my household. When I bought the house I invested in a dishwasher that had half load settings and a built in garbage disposal (so I’m not washing the dishes before I wash the dishes.) Time is money and mine is best spent elsewhere rather than making more work for myself. Third, I work from home 80% of the time and I cook almost every meal I eat so yes there is usually enough to do one load per day. What can I say… I’m just not a peanut butter and jelly sandwich kind of girl.
