These things are commanded by the their religion, the book considered holy in the Jewish and Christian religions.
The "Holy" Bible orders them to kill everyone including the old and crippled and newborn babies.
And the Lord said, "Go through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have you pity. Slay utterly old and young, both maids and little children, and women. [Ezek. 9:5]
Compare this to our sweet Deen, a beacon of light, with strict rules for warfare which forbid the killing of non-combatants, the elderly, the women, the children, the cattle, the trees and plants and which lays down strict rules of kindness towards slaves and protection to those who peacefully submit to Muslim rule. Our religion is a balanced middle path whilst passages in their scriptures jump from one extreme to the other.
