Re: To the married people
it depends on the day the mood the weather. Some planned activities, some unplanned spur of the moment things. sometimes we take the time to go and visit a new city around christmas time, sometimes we stay local.
when staying local, we become tourists in our own city, go explore some new joints, get a nice hotel downtown, get pampered, watch some shows, a concert or two, spa and stuff.
Re: To the married people
do you ever wake up one morning, look at your husband/wife and momentarily wish they weren't there ... just so that you could do your own thing that day and not worry about them.
Re: To the married people
I play squash regularly with my wife. We also go out on weekends explore a new place each time, may it be in our own city or a new city (When in Europe, its small sometimes we visit neighbouring countries on day trips).
If we are in doors then we play cards, or share something that we all (including my girls) get busy. & ya Wednesday is a swimming day for me my older daughter.
Re: To the married people
not really..as long as you give each other space to pursue your interests then it will not be an issues.
Re: To the married people
Movies, dinner, shopping, and walking are the kind of activities that we always end up doing and even though they are fun, sometimes you need something different which is what I'm interested in. I like the suggestions like skiing, discovering different cities or playing tourist in your own, playing squash......I'm sure he would like these also. Thank you all for your suggestions including the funny ones. :)

Re: To the married people
I second that Furqan, I totally need to have space to do my own thing.
Don’t want to get stuck with a paranoid and excessively possesive guy.
