When people look for errors, they find them. This does not mean that they were there in the first place. The confirmation of your suspicion versus cross checking could be a coincidence.

Looking for errors is my specialty, obviously if they were not there I would not have found them. There are certain usual interaction patterns and then there are those that are not usual.
