hey theorist thanks for writing but i do it.. i srub my lips as well but i still have dark lips… i remember when i was 17 and started using lipsticks i bought some cheap quality gloses and lispticks i was not aware that time i used them for a month only but when i realised how harmfull it can be i threw all but since then i have dark lips 
darkness doesnt go no matter what i do …i know its a result of cheap gloses and lipsticks 
but how can i make them pink again?
