thanx! how do you normally do your make-up though?
btw MAC makeup is the BEST. Honestly, you can see the quality difference between MAC and regular drug store brands. Its worth the money if you wear makeup everyday. Otherwise, Almay and Covergirl are pretty good cheaper brands. Oh, and if you have frizzy hair, try this hair serum called Biosilk! It works sooo well. Its like $12 a bottle.
Do any of you use any type of primer under your foundation/powder? And also, do primer’s work as far as helping the make-up stay longer? I’m specifically looking for opinions on MAC and Chanel face primer’s but any brand suggestions are welcome.
**I have combination skin and live in Houston where humidity is terrible!! I use Chanel Double Perfection Compact(foundation+powder combined) but right after putting it on, my face starts getting oily and as I blot my face, after an hour or so, the foundation/powder is pretty much gone. **
But I use Clinique’s Touch tint for eyes as a eyelid primer and apply MAC eyeshadow over it…ever after 6+ hours, the colors stay just as vivid on my oily eyelids.
**Oh also, one site where I love to read product reviews is makeupalley. **

The best facial mask is honey. Place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores. Use once a week.

proactive is a mild benzoyl peroxide wannabe with triple the price...so might as well just buy a tube at a drug store for $8...works just as good
but rem to use a lot of sunscreen while using it
lost, try the lumiere chanel base...its super amazing....makeup lasts almost all day....and also you might wanna switch to the creme poudre in stead of the double perfection...its in a little black tube thingy......looks and feels great...and doesnt make yourself oily...hopefully you wont have to blot so much :-)
okay here are sum home made remdies that u could try.. am nt sure if dey will work bt worth a try..
-- Make a mixture of lime juice and rose water. Apply on face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water
-- Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area n leave on overnyt n rise off in the morning.
-- Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quanitity of rose water. apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. wash the face with fresh water. about 15 days of application helps cure acne n pimples.
-- another tip that i would like 2 giv is drink plenty of water.. it really does help.. and control your diet. dn't eat too much chocolate n eat plenty of fruit n make sure u don't squeeze ur spots. also cleanse ur face gently.
