where from she learnt to read Arabic script?
She learnt it in her very young age taught by her cousin sister. Mom can read and write in Arabic script.

She did her schooling in Indor and college in Bombay(Mumbai).In the late 60's,during her college days she and her friends started a college magazine in Sindhi and they had run it for a few years.They even had Arabic script writers in Sindhi!!!
She has a great collection of photos(of those times) and their journals.
