This type of things also happens in villages of Pakistan especially in South Punjab, interior Sindh and interior parts of other provinces. Every one cry over education but not one can stop this type of activity. Have you heard about the Nikkah with Quran ? Nauzbillah

No dear I personally know some landlord who are well educated but doing this type of things just for the sake of saving their land. One of my friend's father did 3rd marriage with this type of girl by escaping with her and later got her share in land. Many times you heard this type of news Ghairat Kay Naam par Qatal but 80% murders are fake.
