agar history pe ghaur karein to yehi situation thi 1970-71 mein dhaka ki
Dhaka had different dimensions than Karachi, but we should have learned something from those conditions, which we didn't.

mujhe bhi khas pasand nahin aaya. Don't know why its been termed as classic. At places, it was looked like a Punjabi movie. Someone commented that after Waris, all of Amjad Islam Amjad's scripts were like Punjabi movies. I didn't accept this, as I have watched Fishar, Din and Raat. But when I first watched Samandar and now this Dehleez those comments made sense.
The direction of the play was also confusing. few episodes were directed by Yawar Hayaat, few by Nusrat Takur and most episodes were directed by Qanbar Ali Shah.

but samandar was brilliant, dehleez is total ordinary and yes direction is weak with mix directors lol.....

Samandar was okay, but there were some loud scenes like Punjabi movies.
All Samandar, Din, Fishaar have many common characters. Two brothers, one is gentleman and other one is angry young man who comes to contact with gundas. They have an unmarried sister and there father is the most loyal and imandar person on the earth. Amjad Islam Amjad repeated his characters, but we enjoyed all that.
