I am just saying that if this rule was so controversial, BCCI / Dhoni should have objected before WC.

secondly, its fauly for all team so that levels the ground once again.

I agree with you first point that Dhoni/BCCI should have objected earlier. However, its only after you see it in practice that you realize how faulty & potentially costly it can be.

For your second point - equal for all teams - I dont agree. Its only a team that experiences a bad decision that could result in an adverse result (losing or a tie like this case) can claim to be the same boat. Maybe its easier to ignore bad decisions if they would not have materially impacted the result.
