ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao has said that the return and rehabilitation of displaced Rahija, Kalpars and Massoris to their homes and hearths in Dera Bugti after nine years displacement would usher an era of peace and tranquility in Balochistan and pave the way for development in the area. He observed this in a statement issued here on Monday. The interior minister said that these tribesmen were coerced by Nawab Akbar Bugti to leave their ancestral abodes in Dera Bugti and Sui and were forced to take refuge in neighbouring districts of Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan of Punjab. These tribesmen have undergone tremendous hardship and vicissitude. The action against miscreants and Ferraris in Dera Bugti and Kohlu encouraged these tribesmen to return to their homes and also manifest their confidence in the government. We are pleased on their return. The government would ensure full protection to all residents who wish to return to their homes. The return of these displaced tribesmen on one hand would bring peace and stability in Dera Bugti and open new vistas of development on the other, he added. The interior minister urged these tribesmen to get settled quickly and play their role in the development and uplift of their area.

Dasbz is here, lol. Anyways, well if they returned back to their homeland good for them, but this is not my fight is it? Baluch will do what they need, and many sardars are loyal to Pakistan, but they are still sardars. If oy are going to dismantle the system go full on, why just single out the bugtis?

I just said it was a good thing. Re-read my post, but ok here I will commend them, good on the government, those people deserve to return to thier land.

I'll take the return of these tribesmen with a oinch of salt. I feel this similar to what was done in Karachi, when government wanted to suppress MQM , heqqeqi people were brought in under the government umrella into various areas of Karachi.
Some of these Balochs were brought in Multan areas after their expulsion and they committed lot of crimes there. I remember reading in newspaper few years ago that they even raped a school girl.
What needs to be done is to dismantle this Sardar system, their private militias and give education to them.

Maybe you are right that ISI was created by the british but as far as i know it was created after 47-48 indo-pakistan war in kashmir.correct me if i am wrong

Our brown sahibs in the army have not forgotten the ways of british rule by buying sardars and tribes to get votes in a “free and fair” election. Even our laws still reflect the old mentality of slave and master.
Syed, ISI was created by some British officer, I’m pretty sure of this. Perhaps it was the one of the curses they left behind.

For Bharati Hindustanis, it may come as a shock but the Indian National Congress was also created by British. Gandhi was a recruiter for the British Army.
Off course Hindustanis will do all the aayin baayin shayin about this.
Marshal races of Punjab and Frontier became part and parcel of the British army.
While Banya races of Central and Southern Bharat became Baboos and Munshis.
Everyone served British. Bengal served the longest (from Battle of Palasi until 1947). Punjab and Frontier served the shortest period (1860s to 1947).
Linking selective things with British is typical Commie Hindustani ploy to put down their enemy races.

The only areas of frontier I belive were peshawar adn bannu and what not were then part of the British raj. Durand line hadn't been imposed until 1893, adn Peshawar was the winter capital until then.

10,000 return to Dera Bugti
Around ten thousand expelled Maisuri, Raiheja and Kalpar Bugti tribesmen have so far returned to their native villages in Dera Bugti, District Coordination Officer Abdul Samad Lasi told reporters on Thursday. Lsi said the returning tribesmen were being rehabilitated and the government was providing them tractors, seeds sheep and goats. Life has returned to the area and the civil administration has already been resorted in the district, he said. Schools and shops have also reopened in the area, he added.
