Thanks guys! Yeah Reha that one letter makes a huge difference so I could understand that. My name always gets mispelled.

Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
I like Faryal the best out of those 3.
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
Thanks Paheli, that’s the one we’ve been leaning towards this past week but my mind jumps between those two. It helps asking.
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
i like farayl of the ones you posted.
does it have to be an F name?
met a little girl recently names faria (beautiful/kind)
an afghan friend … farnaz
personally like falak.
congrats on the baby!
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
Does your husband have a favorite between Faryal and Farina?
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
Faryal sounds prettier.
Farina is more unique but I agree about the confusion with fariha.
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
My cousin’s wife is Fariha
Her sister is Farina
Both despise their names.
Aiza is an overworked , and boring name.
So that leaves Faryal. which i will forever associate with Faryal Makhdoom, Amir Khan’s wife.
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
how about anaya
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
Faryal is better…
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
Faryal
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
I have a lovely Faryal who we all call Fary (pronounced fairy - but with the soft Urdu intonation of the consonants).
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
What happened to good old fashioned names like Shagufta and Qulsoom?

Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
Lafz!!
or for non Urdu speakers… WUURRRD!
Re: Thoughts On These Baby Girl Names?
i liked the name ‘Anabiya’…my nephew wanted to name his daughter but my big bro said it’s grammatically incorrect so he chose another name ‘Amanah’ suggested by me.
I thought “lafz” was “laughz,” a spin on “lol” haha, thx for the clarification. =D
