Ok. My first attempt at poetry. It took me about 10 minutes to come up with. Feel free to make some alterations in wording to improve it.
It started with a bet, that required some sweat
The destination seemed far but the time passed quickly
The more I gave the more satisfaction I got
As I made progress , I come closer a step
The closer I got, the more focused the vision became
The destination is near reality and the history is a distant memory
The journey has been long and ardous
and I learnt many a lesson
It started with a thought
ultimately it ends in a thought
how quickly I can apply that thought is a test
which can only be judged when I compete with the best
