Those of you who live in Arabic lands

Re: Those of you who live in Arabic lands

yea but how we we integrate with the Arabs. I mean in school you are surrounded by only Indians. Your building/ neighbor hood has only Indians along with a few Filipinos or Pakistanis or Srilankas. At work there are chances of having a cosmopolitan environment but you are not really "friends" with anyone unless you really hit it off with someone. Social interaction with them is limited.

Most of the local go to Govt school here which is free and that is strictly for locals.

Gulf is different , where the expat population is far greater than that of the local. In Bahrain its almost the same. In 2010, Bahrain's population grew to 1.2 million, of which 568,399 were Bahraini and 666,172 were non-nationals

Dubai the local population is only 20%.

Its not like in the west, where you are only of the few asians among the whites.

Wow. Morocco is totally different. Random locals would talk to you as though they know you. I picked up quite a lot of Arabic and some French just in a week.
