Re: ‘This is your Life (& Relationship)’ presents - Nadz123
Did you plan on having 2 kids in such quick succession like you did?
yes i did. i was worried i may be less able to conceive naturally when i was younger, due to lots of reason, so i wanted to have kids asap. career will alwyas be there, butt you may not get the chance to have kids as you get older, chances are less.
If you could go back would you wait longer to have your first child after marriage? Why/Why not?
hmmm, no. for reasons above. but its nice to see couples now adays waiting 2 years atleast. they have fun and enjoy themselves. but i think sometimes having kids is a benefit for husbands like mine, who are homebodies and dont like venturing outside much. kids give him the chance to do that.
When your daughters grow up do you think you will be against or for cousin marriages for them?
its not about marrying your cousin. its about marrying someone you like and get along with reasonably well before marriage. him being my cousin was just an added bonus for our parents. my parents and his, have never promoted cousin marriages nor gone against it. my inlaws and my own parents are not related. just me and my husband happened to be.
personally, i wont be able to do the cousin marriage thing with my daughters anyway, as they are the eldest in their generation, no other kids yet. and those that are, are mostly females too.
If your daughters eventually choose a husband like yours (i.e their father as a lot of girls idealise their fathers) would you be supportive of the marriage given the differences you and your husband face.
yes of course. give me one marriage that doesnt have problems. every one does. but just different problems. my friend married someone completly liberal, they have issues. i married someone fairly conservative, we have issues. i think its natural to have issues, its how you deal with it that matters. and im still learning.
