If Internet shorthand slang is wrong, than even worse are the run on sentences, lack of punctuation (or liberal use of certain punctuation marks) and incorrect grammar that plague most of the posts on this forum.

I have been seeing this for A LONG TIME now that people have started using too much of SHORT LANGUAGE! there was a time, when we used to send TEXT MESSAGES without FULL SPELLING but I could never know that a time will come when we will need to WRITE SHORT LANGUAGE and this shows how much people are busy that they even want to WRITE IN ABBREVIATIONS!

MOST OF THE TIMES, when I am reading some important stuff, whether on GS or on some other sites, they are just NOT SO READY to write full words and feel quiet comfortable of it or maybe they want to give their fingers some relax.

Not only it is very IRRITATING TO READ but also sometimes VERY CONFUSING TOO. And sometimes I need to open up** A SITE OF ABBREVIATIONS** to watch for THE SHORT WORDS.

IN MY OPINION, it shouldn’t be happening… but I want to know about what does it feel IN YOUR OPINION!

P.S. I hope besides able to read this, you may have understood my reason of posting it too!!

Neither I said its wrong…Its just…I get confuse…
I added in the last sentence, that I HOPE people would understand the reason of my post but NOW I think, my hope was wrong

In your opinion, short hand slangs shouldn’t be used on the forum because they confuse you and you have to look up the meanings, correct? It’s a valid concern if it bothers you.

In my opinion (and I’ll refrain from using the shorthand), bad grammar confuses me.
