and yet those thousands of rockets in the last 8 years have killed 20. If you don't give people their basic human rights, what do you expect? Flowers? Of course not, you would expect resistance. Hamas is not terrorizing as they are portrayed to be, they are only resisting.

Israel has sent ground forces into the Gaza Strip after a week of air strikes to try to halt rocket attacks by Palestinian militants.
Its troops were reported to be engaged in heavy clashes with Hamas fighters in northern Gaza. Both sides have reported casualties in the fighting.
The UN secretary general called for an immediate halt to operations.
But an emergency Security Council meeting failed to agree a united approach to the Gaza conflict.

Had both sides accepted 1948 borders, none of this would have happened. Palestinians are now fighting for less than what they had 60 years ago.
Blame Israel for its record of atrocities, but lets not say that palestinians did not do anything wrong. The suicide bombings against civilians for years being one example.
Sometimes I go back to the reports that Hamas is actually an Israeli creation to create circumstances which would drown out the legitimate demands of palestinians under the dumb moves of Hamas.
It is easy to use BIG words like genocide. But this word is hardly applicable to killing those who are involved in gang warfare.
Many on this forum say, Hammas rockets killed 8 Israelis, then Israel should kill 8 Palestinians based on the rule of parity. The problem is that modern law enforcement is not a cricket match, where each team scores to match the opponent. And Hammas should never treat this rocket bazi as a shughal maila or a cricket match.
Israelis are responding to the Jihadi terror just like Pakistani government is treating the militants in Swat. Jihadis use mosques, and Pak army has to attack the mosque. That's just the nature of things.
For Pakistanis it is much easier to understand the gang warfare by Jihadis. In Swat they started the shariat movement in 1990s, and they killed people in the name of Islam. Now Jihadis have descended to the worst possible atrocities like desecrating corpses, and chopping off limbs in addition to committing suicide bombing. Peshaware and Bannu cities are regular attacked using mortars and homemade rockets.
Many on this forum support these Jihadis in the name of Islam. Where in Islam it was allowed to rain down rockets on civilian population? Where in Islam it was allowed to commit suicide attacks?
Hamas is not interested in Palestinian liberation, they are interested in gang warfare in the name of Islam. That's all.

Rocket fired are legal by Hamas, when you blockade a whole country to the outside world, no water, no bread, no shelter. This has been a war against the people in Gaza for a while now.
