This is really a non-issue – just politicized at election time to gain more publicity. I mean have the politicians forgotten about the Special Voting Rules in Canada Elections Act which allow electors to vote by mail… the rules actually state that if elector cannot or does not wish to go to their polling stations to vote, they can vote by mail. So no one will really have seen the elector’s face anyways… or whether it was tryely them who voted or not.
Dunno what the big deal is!
If the politicians really want to justify the veil lifting, then they should change the special voting rules as well.
