I guess we are in the same boat, I am also planning to get married insha Allah this year, but I am not much worried about what you are worried about.
I know I have certain deal breakers with which I cannot adjust with, other then that if I'll find some one who falls under that criteria, then insha Allah I'll take the plunge. Nobody knows what's written in the future, only Allah knows about, we just need to have good intentions and leave rest up to Allah in certain matters :)

Xtron likes to declare that he is looking for spouse too..but i guess confuse about the fact whether she is right girl for me or no. I can understand OP's concern as well. I am 28 and have had bad experience with relationship in the past..but insha'allah all for the best..for all who are looking. With that said..Xtron might have someone his mind and took time out because he needs to finish couple of goals in couple of months..

Marriage is also a part of life.. If you will finish your goals with a good partner. You will more enjoy and might be possible you can achieve your goals more quickly
