I used to wonder the same when I looked at my friends blistered/red feet when I was 16. I thought she was crazy for wearing shoes like that.
But then I started wearing similar shoes and clothes. I swear I don't breath all day till I get home and change. My feet don't hurt that much anymore though so I guess thats good.
I would never pierce anything but my ears. I contemplated getting a tattoo but I'm too scared of infection.
Can you even imagine the pain and money that goes into keeping a womans hair in tact? Luckily I don't really care about my hair but I have friends who spend $400 average on styling their hair.. highlights and all.

OK so my question is this that why women go to that extreme? Is it to look good for guys, for other girls (out of competition) or its just an internal desire to look good?
I mean how many of you would still try to look presentable if stranded on an island by yourself?

A combination of all 3. different situations, different reasons as well.
Women dress up super trendy for each other, and i believe for guys, they tone it down a bit..... thats usually how it is

O please. I have seen umpteen times, girls walking back to their cars or parking lots, bare feet, with heels in their hands, after a party or wedding.

right but i was telling from experience. I wear 4-5 inches heels on daily basis (15 hours a day on an average) ... just took time getting used to and then it was fine.

errr. Druggies and alcoholics say the same. They get very high at first, gradually they get used to it. doesn't mean drugs or liqour is doing any good.
