It was very disturbing when I watched the news and heard of it. It was also heart breaking to see his parents weep.
I don’t know how brainwashed you have to be or sick in the head to do something like this. And apparently they were saying on the news that the person who
murdered Foley had a british accent? And might be British born?

They’re close to naming the guy here in the UK..

Also, a fake accent that was mentioned above is usually quite easy to sport for native speakers, let alone the professionals who’ve been examining the video..
