It was very disturbing when I watched the news and heard of it. It was also heart breaking to see his parents weep.
I don’t know how brainwashed you have to be or sick in the head to do something like this. And apparently they were saying on the news that the person who
murdered Foley had a british accent? And might be British born?

There is a chance that the British accent was used to misguide both investigators and the rest of the world.By inducting a western accent they might want to show that Europeans are also there with them (indeed,yes) and that would help them spread propaganda or horror/terror.
