Why not? Hence I ask you the question again, how many innocent people does a state have to kill for a government to resign? You obviously think it was wrong of the Dutch government to resign for their military’s role in Srebrenica? When do you think, if ever, a government should resign?

the desi resignation is used as a generic example and not directly related to this issue. However it is very astonishing to see that those 4 desis are now suddenly called British all the time, whereas people from that desi community were before always called Pakistanis living in Britain (who usually didn’t want to identify themselves with Britain) why have they now suddenly become British?

They were born in Britain … and weren’t the first generation British…

I tell you, if they even had had a little British influence in them they wouldn't have done this. This whole 'bad' influence in them has come from Pakistan or related sources.

RP: a government should resign when it is purposefully killing innocent people...not accidentally. And as I said in one other thread, the situation lends itself that it is better to shoot down one person too many than one too few

The American military purposefully killed innocent people in Vietnam. Did anyone resign? Remember My Lai? Which US President or government resigned for that?

The Brits purposefully killed innocent people in Ireland, but did anyone resign for that?

secondly I never said that US should not apologize for the killings in Vietnam (which might have been purposefully)....I said that Blair shouldn't resign for this killing (which was accidentally)
