The question is why the universe looks the same no matter which direction you look at it, and why wee observe the same 3 kelvin hot microwave radiation when we look far into the universe in any direction. Confusion is that universe is not old enough to reach the homogeneous state that she is in as the light did not have time to reach from one side to the other.
Theory of inflation says that universe at a very young age (few micro seconds old) burst and inflated at a speed much faster than the speed of light so all the reqions of space achieved the information well in advance and thus now as we look at the expended universe, we see a similar universe all around it.
My thing is that the theory does not explain why universe all of a sudden burst and inflated at such high speed. But because this is the only explanation that fits the observation, they are forcing it in.
I didnt even understand this part.
How come the universe looks the same whichever direction we look at?
