Can you imagine how much is riding around the world on finding / not finding one box of white powder? Whether it’s milk powder labelled anthrax or anthrax labelled milk powder.
Imagine how many things get determined automagically of one is found:
presidency of USA
prime ministership of england
us’s budget
fate of the democrats for another decade
fate of the UN
fate of the saudi family
fate of thousands of soldiers in pakistan, perhaps India and a dozen other countries
everything changes with one box. How long before it’s found?
will the Administration do yet another U turn and say.. well it WAS about WMD's and we were only shi**ing with y'all about that Liberators R Us business..
The liberation argument doesn't float.. if they truly intended this war to liberate the Iraqis and bring them democracy and prosperity, don't you think they'd have planned for all possible post-war scenarios??
And on the WMD.. IF they find anything it'll be some 20 year old underground storage containers full of decomposed and useless agents. There are no coffee cans full of anthrax.. if there were they'd be out of the country by now.
And on conventional weapons.. isn't it kinda scary that 5 months after the fact there are still huge weapons caches like the one found the other day out there? That's not a success, it's a failure. Those weapons should have been destroyed months ago.
