Depending on where you live, not sure if you can get a hold of these products. One is Biosilk serum, which might cost you an arm and a leg. But a cheaper inexpensive alternative which works just as well is Proclaim’s ‘Glossing Polish’ Frizz Eliminating Shiner. The large bottle will run you about $8-$10 from Sally’s..but then again, not sure if you are in the States or not.
And an extra tip: if you blowdry, always always always blow dry DOWNWARDS! Meaning, if you are starting at the scalp, make sure the blowdryer is facing downward. If you do it upwards or sideways you will RAISE the cuticle of your hair, allowing for added fizziness!
Im sure you’ve seen people who blowdry and end up with silky straight hair, and then those who blowdry and look like they just got electrocuted? Well those are the ones who raised their cuticle.
I am willing to order these online if i get good reviews. Question is, glossing polsih or serum will work for hair that is frizzy due to humidity.
Yes i do blowdry hair my hair downwards.
Hair tends to ‘swell’ in humid climate, drying your hair will help with the frizz and hair serums with silicone help tame it as well.
Use a leave-in conditioner 2-3 times a week.
Can you name some silicone based serums Gina?

also , i forgot to add, at the end of a shower/washing your hair, use cold water at the end. Warm/hot water opens up ur cuticles, which causes frizz, and the cold water would close them (which makes ur hair less frizzy). Its good for ur skin too (same idea - but with ur pores).
