Punjabi girls has more clean and shiny skin than those of Karachi waliyan! Believe me, and its because of the environment, I have seen there is no humidity in Punjab than Karachi. In karachi, in summer you just sweat sweat and sweat and you feel like taking bath everyday while in Punjab, its hot but you dont feel the khich pich!! I hope girls here understand my point.

Actually in the middle east its hot and very dry. I think its the healthier diet that people eat abroad and the life style is probably much less stressful than in the west.

another important point mentioned above.....stress.
regardless of whether we are working or not, the stress level in the west is so much greater.
this contributes very significantly in my routine......
if I don't get enough sleep or if I am stressed out about something, my skins tends to reflect it.

Actually it differs from area to area. If you are living in Clifton or DHA, you will most likely have khara pani unless you can afford meetha pani tankers every time.
Anyway, I was in Karachi and I agree my skin was like a supermodel's! :P I think the reason was the climate. Here, my pores get clogged so I have to be careful with what goes on my face. In Karachi, it gets so hot and you are sweating so nothing gets clogged in your skin, if that makes any sense :P I wasn't even using any moisturizer (it just felt so greasy there!) or a cleanser!
Water could be another factor, however, it isn't the cleanest either. I guess, we can all try investing in shower filters?
I disagree about stress, I was under more stress in Pakistan.

when i visited pakistan my cousin used an umbrella when she was out in the sun. we went to saddar and they had these tiny stalls clustered all around. she would open/close her umbrella every 10 mins-half an hour. it was so annoying! i guess that would help protect one's skin from the sun if one was patient enough to do it.
i agree with muzna about stress too. they have maasis back home to do most chores. even working women there get quite a bit of time to take care of their skin. here most women barely have time between a full time job and cleaning, cooking, doing all kinds of chores. that in itself can be quite stressful.

i dont know how to do the threading thing, so i waxed...and i didnt even have any visible hair on my face...but jesussss my skin is glowinggg nowwww
i just hope i didnt do anything wrong now :O
i plan to thread from next...but im really happy with the result i must say.
Before, not even my makeup base looked good, and now I dont need base :D

And to everyone who get good skin in pakistan...whenever i visit pakistan my skin literally cries...my skin hates Pakistan i get sooo many breakouts etc.

Waxing is exfoliating...the light fuzz on your face along with some layers of skin.
Fresh skin that is exposed to the sun.
You want to protect that skin as much as you can. So sunscreen is important.
