if you look at a water bottle of 1 liter, and there is half liter air, half liter water, you will either say

-it is half empty and soon
or
-it is half full
depends on your point of view, all is relative to your point of view, not only Einstein physics:D

the door is either closed or open
but what angle aperture qualify you to clearly state it is open 10°, 50° or full 90°??
depending on your relativity, ie subjectivity, you'll set somewhere in your mind a threshold to state wether the door is closed or open, and the threshold is depending on the individual, hence for the, same door some say it is closed, some others say it is open
