The X-files isn't what it used to be.
Duchovny's in his final season, and rightly so, there's hardly anything left to 'probe' (pun intended) story and script-wise.
I'll agree with Umair on that WWII episode, it was a good change from the usual and tardy parking-lot-meetings-and-eerie-music offerings.

Well, as an X-Files fanatic, my opinion IS going to be biased, i loved the movie but ofcourse, many people said that it wasnt as big as they expected. I think its because the show itself is produced on such a big scale, special effects etc. that the movie seemed just like a 2 hour episode.
As for the some people saying that the X-Files isnt what it supposed to be, well…being a LOYAL X-fanatic, i will ALWAYS LOVE the show

But ever since the show moved from Vancouver to LA, it has been affected in many ways…writers have changed etc. I dont think that was a good decision but David threatened to quit if they didnt move, so what else could Chris Carter do???

Aik-Masoom-Pari, please provide any links or PROOF of people committing suicide from watching the X-Files… and tell me, how is that the show’s fault??? The X-Files merely explores the paranormal, mythology and ACTUAL FBI cases that took place in the past. The show does not just MAKE UP stuff alright?? The episode in which there was a mass suicide was based on the incident that took place years ago in the Branch Drividian compound, this group was led by a fanatic David Koresh…
So if some people actually committed suicide for real, they weren’t influenced by the X-Files but by David Koresh’s fanatic CULT!!
This story has been all over the news in the past, have you ever heard of anyone committing suicide after watching all these dead bodies on the news??

Listen, i was talking about DAVID KORESH...the incident that took place in WACO Texas(it was all over CNN)....im talking about one of the episodes that was based on this incident. What i said has nothing to do with the people you are talking about. And i asked for PROOF of this thing...You honestly believe people are going to commit suicide because of a show?? Its NOT the show's fault but whoever their psychopathic leader was.
