I have something similar to tell but all these are not really chuRail’s stories.. but anyway…
Once, during load shedding days back in karachi… in the evening… when there was no candle around.. my mom asked me to go to the store room and bring the flash light so the matchbox can be looked for to lit the candle and lanterns etc…
So I was in the dark store room searching for the flash light here and there and someone handed me the flash light in my hands… I turned it on, was glad 
came out of the store and realized I was alone when it was given to me… grrrrrrrr

Woah Niksik thats hella scary. AQ how do you know about miz Shakuntala devi? I dont have any freaky stories about it but back in my graduation years in LCW I remember often peeking in the supposed Sukuntala's room through the iron bar window. It was in the old hostel building which was turned into classrooms. All the rooms and upstairs were used for the classes but this room was closed. It was never opened by any Janitor during my 4 years. Some Kath kabar was in the room but the wierdest part was the tree right in the middle of the room. I dont clearly remember if the tree had opened it s way out of the ceiling but I vaguely recall that it had. The temprature in near by classes was alway low. We used to go and sit there in the summer with out fan while all other buidings were scorching hot and I think you guys know how hot it gets in Lahore during the summer months. I also remember once me and my friend was peeking in when the old Janitor lady asked us to shoo away and told us that we should'nt do that. She refused to eleborate on why.
Do you guys know the ghost stories about the Bismillah house in defence Lahore? Freaky Freaky........

WoW.... about shakuntalah, I read it somewhere here in the forums.. i guess it was a thread about dorm-life experience then, I found out a bit about it from a guppy as well...

Sorry it is not Bismillah but Kalma house in Z or Y block. It got the name because it has the Kalma written on the front face. Story goes that no body is able to live in this house past a week or so. They either move b/c of scary stuff or die in mysterious conditions. when it was built the owner moved in and in one week later he died. No evidence of how he died. No cuts, no wounds, no disease, no nothing. Just simply died somehow So, then his brother moved in. Few days later, he died too.
Neighbours cliam that they would hear screaming and some1 in the house shouting. People also say they saw shadows lurking in the house when no one lives there. Comapred to the price of other houses around this one is on for sale on very very low price but no body buys it. Most people in living in Defence area have heard theses rumors.

so there were only two deaths there and that too of two brothers.. It could very well be case of sudden death by heart failure... but then people seeing shadows and all....
OoOooo.. it reminds me of many novels of Ishtiaq Ahmed :D

Bachpan may meray mohallah may roze raat ko aik chorail aatai thi. Koi kehta uskay paaon ultay thay, koi kuch blah blah. But I never saw any churail then.
