You maintain that the blasphemy law has no role in encouraging religious bigotry. You insist it’s not dangerous and is a non-issue. I’m wondering how you can say that when Liaquat constantly invokes the law on his program, opposing it’s amendment. You’ve bolded paragraphs about Ahmedis being killed as a direct result of incitement to violence by these televangelists. They cite the law when they goad their viewers to target minorities, or Muslims who don’t conform. Yet you insist that these issues are separate. It makes little sense to state that the law isn’t as dangerous as the people who peddle it.
