girls get married and leave their home away. They are less burden compared to the boys. On the other hand, it is boys duty to take care of their parents when they are fully grown up. It is boys' responsiblities that has to cover. So that's why the more share is given to the boys.

I understand what you are saying but I will not totally agree with the comment. Its a cultural thing for a male to take care of the parents. if you look in the western countries, they are on their own most of the life. Also why is a girl more burden than a man, if parents are sending their sons to college, arent daughters going to college? tuition... is that a burden... no thats the parents responsibility... they are suppose to teach their kids with the best of knowledge so they can have a good life.
