Where do i begin... Ever heard of Lloyd? Maybe Buster Keaton? Charlie Chaplin? I recomend you watch Chaplins "The Adventurer"(1914) and "Behind the Screen"(1917) and Keaton made an awesome film called the "The General"(not sure on the date of this one... maybe 1913).

In India i was a big fan of Badrudeen Jamaludeen Qazi, we commonly know him as the comic actor Jhonie Walker.
I also love pre 1970's Bollywood classics, examples include Mugal e Azam(1960) and Andaz(1949) as well as Bhaiju Bawra (1952) and Aan from the same year.
In Hollywoods classics i'm a big fan of westerns and some other genres too but theres just too many to name.
