It is not only Pakistan's responsibility to stop "cross-border" trade, Afghanistan should safeguard its own borders and stop militants from crossing over......
Many Al Qaida leaders have been killed in Pakistan via missile strikes. So the responsibility should be on us. Why we allow international terrorists to stay in our areas.
Do not expect anything from Afghanistan. Their resources (human + financial) are less than a medium size Pakistani city. They can't do much.
Ultimately it is Pakistan's responsibility to clean up its neighborhood. We can't do it alone, and the West is there to help us. We don't like West's approach so far. Then we should tell the West that we'll lead and they follow.
Forget about negotiations until the tribal militants' back is not broken. It is a war and we have to fight it (whether we like it or not).
