Sometimes I feel obligated to be certain way, which is so not me! anyone ever felt that way?

How should one break away from such obligations? or are they necessary for society to function? Am I being really deep now?
I believe it's not easy or possible to break from obligations. Since you are a part of a society, there will always be certain obligations and expectations placed on you. You might not want to follow them but in most cases you will because that's what people expect from you. You will do things which 'arnt you' but that's life. There's always good obligations, focus on those. Be happy, and trust me being happy is no obligation, it's a choice.
