we had 120 cms [52 inches] of snow in 3 days…the city has ceased to exist. everything has bene closed for the last three days..

yes…as i said the whole city has been grounded. universities closed. only the essential services are up n running. prolly, 8 inches is too much for UK but for Canada its not a big deal. **
