Yes, i missed the opening ceremony too. I've heard it was absolutely spectacular. I know someone who recorded it; will try to get it uploaded if possible.
Oh and for those that are interested in watching the Pakistan Hockey team match:
Pakistan takes on Great Britain in their opening Olympic match on 11th August at 10:30 (China time i suppose)
