The picture which shames US army

Oh yeah 3rd world Vietnam must have slipped your memory they kicked americas backside :hehe:

This defense of American occupation is just laughable really!

Frisking 4 year old kids whats next pointing a gun at 90 year old man in a coma and checking his medication in case it contains anthrax!

As sad a spectacle as having to frisk children is, don't forget the misguided fools that strap their own kids with explosives and send them to explode in the name of jihad. It's a shame but they have to frisk kids in that part of the world. If you have any problem with it take it up with the next imam that gives a fiery speech.

Al Jazeera showed a documentary which showed how children from the age 6-12 were succeptible to this, and how they would be brainwashed for suicide attacks easily so you do have a point there...

Sorry, America-haters but you are going to have to go to another thread (there are many in the WA forum to choose from) to criticize the US. What is shameful is the culture that breeds child warriors, pregnant suicide bombers and other tactical choices that puts all civilians in danger. And to chide American military might only shows a chip on the shoulder so large that it obviously blocks your view. In current or historical context the US (whether you love 'em or hate 'em) has the most powerful military in world history. That's what allows them to be imperial, arrogant and to defeat and occupy countries, remember?

Yes, it is far superior in killing thousands upon thousands of innocent Afghans, and still finding it hard to achieve a victory there. I could mention half a dozen examples of where American "superiority" was dealt damning blows around the world, but that would be beside the point of this topic, and would only say that if America is so "superior" in Afghanistan it would not have to search defenceless little kids, and be talking to the very people they overthrew from power to get them out of the present Afghan quagmire i.e. the Taliban.

Sorry Muslim haters but a nation that has gun gulture where even schoolkids shoot each other daily and a nation which nuclear bombs twice a civillian population in japan. the Only terrosits country in the world to do so might i add!

The only shamefullnes i see is when people claim to be proud to be american when there own government lies to them and this week alone we hear there so called powerful american army which does’nt even want to step one foot anywhere inside 3rd world north korea which has WMD’s to the ceiling, is now sending fake letters to newspapers across America from invisible soldiers in Iraq saying how much we love staying in iraq and how the iraqis welcoming them with flowers NOT!

Now who is the blind one :smokin:

interesting ...

that sheep is probably carrying Osama's unborn child

Ah yes, i am converted. Two photos taken out of context, certainly prove to me of the misguided nature of American society.

Perhaps I shall aspire to do something far more ethical with my life, such as strap on a bomb and attempt to kill a hundred souls or so.

one would do, I can show you where to put the bomb.

I can show you where to put the bomb.

You must have passed the class when you were four.....

Shameful tsk tsk.

Seminole

They say that if you give a man enough rope, he will eventually hang himself.

Well done.

At least you have decided to show your true colours, despite it taking months and months of bullsh...... from you as being a peaceloving, non arrogant, one love member of the anti Bush brigade.

No need to justify.

What attracts you to a predominantly Pakistani Muslim Forum like Gupshup? Imperialism by any chance or power, maybe arrogance, could be occupation!!!

Yes and on the back of the “Know your Suicide Bombing ABC” kit for 4 year olds Afghan kids read “Published by the United States of America, Nebraska Oklahoma”.

Violent Soviet-Era Textbooks Complicate Afghan Education Efforts

So do they get an A?

No response? Awwww reality bites bud.

"So do they get an A?"

Sure.

Ironically those nasty US written textbooks (pretty shameful really) must have been exported to Chechnya, Riyahd, Palestine, Kashmir, Bali, and wherever all those bombs are expoding, right?

So the chicken or the egg? Did those US inspired textbooks create a culture of brutality and violence, or simply feed it? The US certainly exploited radical Islamic/anti-Soviet thinking in Afghanistan, but did we cause it? Doubtful.

And look at a map, Nebraska is not a city in Oklahoma. Perhaps the textbook in your madrassa did not include US geography? :)

In a country where 99.9% of the people are illiterate then it is understood why they won't know where Nebraska or for that matter where Oklahoma is, though in a superpower country where Uni and College students can’t put a finger on Afghanistan while staring at a world map is something else.

Afghans didn't bring Osama or his Arab brothers to Afghanistan. And for your kind information the spirit of JIHAD did start from Afghanistan and did escalate from there which can be confirmed with any self proclaimed scholar on Jihadis or Jihad. Now it would be so naïve to say “we played with sparks though we didn’t know it will grow into a burning flame.” In fact nobody cared if it grew in to a burning flame as long as it didn't touch their soil. But unfortunately it did.

You should try being a politician; you seem to be good at beating behind the bushes.

Those Jihadis are your children, be nice to them daddy.

Personally, I think if Congress can declare the war, then Congress should fight the bloody war! The US Army is made up of boys who either had to join in order to go to college or joined because they couldn't get into a college, for the most part. They are simply doing what their old, white, male leaders are telling them to do.

As one example - I have a close friend who is expecting a child this month. Her husband left the Army when he was just 20 years old. Last February, the Army contacted him again, he's now 27, and said basically "Go fight in Iraq for a year, or we arrest you for leaving the US Army dishonorably"!!! Some choice. I like my country, but I do not blindly believe it to be perfect.
