There is nothing wrong if Hindues mention the good qualities, habbits, words, clothing, manners of Raam, but it is wrong when they start asking help from a statue made by themselves. The statue which cannot even help itself if anyone breaks it.
And similarly it could be said that there is nothing wrong to mention the good qualities, habits, words, clothing and manners of Muhammed, but when it crosses the line to blanket worship when stories are recounted of his physical beauty and whiteness. Muslims can (and do) emulate his appearnce, clothing, habits and manners, but since they can't make themselves physically beautiful, their skin white with redness in it or prevent gray hair, what's the purpose other than to worship anything and everything about this man? What's the difference from reading, posting and fawning over these stories and doing the same with a picture (which has been interpreted and practiced as forbidden?) It has the same purpose/outcome.
