Only brothers of many sisters is a no-no. I have this proposal where all the sisters (the youngest being 14 only) want to come and see me in the first meeting (they are NOT bringing their brother) and this shows the level of interference they all have in their ONLY brother’s life. I hate being an exhibition display item for them . I was ok with the proposal initially but when I saw their behaviour, it just freaked me out. The mom also keeps on insisting the love and bonding the sisters share with their ONLY brother and its like she wants to make these things clear since the very beginning. She is being good for her family and daughters but then we girls also have a right to consider things carefully.

Well, this is not the sole reason for my mom being apprehensive about it. The guys education and income level is also a factor. But if he would not have so many unmarried sisters, my mom would have considered it (their father is retired so the son would have the responsibility of all the sisters and they want a bahu who is earning so that she can share the responsibilities).

that’s sooo wierd and inappropriate…they seem inconsiderate quite honeslty…first meeting should only be parents and the guy and that’s it!
