The New Axis of Evil.

Degas, it's always about the jews with muslims.. they rejected the Democrats cuz they nominated a jew for vice president.. serves them right when the Republicans are as cosy with Israel as any jewish democrat would have been.

Degas, yes you are right about that. Now they don’t like republicans. Have you noticed how they never run out of reasons to hate America?

Even though I despise the outcome of this election with everything gone to Republicans, but I am so happy just to be part of the process, where my voice matters. I consider myself so lucky. It is just such a beautiful country. I will even take Republicans.

I don’t mean to make non-Americans insecure or invidious, but I am really so grateful to be a citizen of the United States. I hope you are as happy living in your own god damn country as I am living in mine.

I wonder how many of the GOP and GW bashers today in Guppistan would support and vote for Joe Loserman as the Democratic presidential candidate in 2004.

last time repubs. had control of both the Senate and The House they lost them both in the next election.

utd: et tu!! Kick ass time!!

To all you desis, does your american citizenship depend on posting pro-american posts here?

By 2008, Democrats will be back in.

Other than the economic policy differences between the two parties, what other differences are their really?
[/QUOTE]

The difference in attitude and goals of the two major USA political parties can be summed up as follows:

Republicans appear to normally work under the assumption that the individual is capable of running his/her own life with as little interference by government as possible. Republicans appear to normally favor traditional values and norms.

Democrats appear to normally work under the assumption that the individual is incapable of running his/her own life. and endeavors to legislate the maxiumum amout of government intereference into the private sector as possible. Democrats appear to normally favor the abolishment of traditional values and norms.

A Republican says, "You're pretty smart, I think you can handle it...I trust you."

A Democrat says, " You poor dumb clod, you have no idea what kind of trouble you're in! Thank goodness I came along to show you the light!"

Just my opinion...

Peace To All Who Read This

The difference between Republicans and Democrats is much simpler than that.

The problem arises on how we get across the river:

The Republican says: I will build the bridge with the labor and money which he has stolen from the sweat and tears of the common man. The republican refused to share in the labor.
Then he charges to cross the bridge. Not just enough to pay for the bridge, but enough to pay for it twice. Then he pockets the profit and has the poor man pay to repair it after he has used it up.

The Democrat says: Lets borrow the money to build the bridge and he pays a fair price to the laborors for their work. He also employs those who have not been employed before. Then he pays the debt by charging to cross the bridge. And everyone gets to use it equally. If there is any profit to be made it is saved to pay what the Republicans spent during the last river crossing.

And finally, the Republicans get in office again and spend what the hard working man saved.

How pathetic AMERICANS!

THE BRIDGE

Democrats actually look at a bunch of people who just happen to live in a Democratic District and who have to travel a few miles out of their way to cross a river and say: “hey, maybe a bridge would help.” They proceed to spend a few million taxpayer dollars studying the matter and receive back a conclusion that a bridge would save a few of their poor constituents 10 minutes of travel time. They then solicit bids from firms to build the bridge. Rather than taking the low bid, they spend a few extra million and take a bid from a less qualified builder because they believe the minority owners of the Company they award the contract to should get preferences in the award of government contracts. Also, seeing the opportunity to create a few more jobs for the poor and wretched, they decide to make it a toll bridge so they can hire toll takers to take more money from those who use it. When the bridge proves to be unprofitable since the poor folks living in the district still travel the free route because they don’t have enough money to pay the tolls, the Democrats raise taxes on everyone else to cover the loss.

The Republicans would say, “hey, if a bridge was necessary and could be built and operated profitably, some private company ought to take the financial risk to do so. We should not use taxpayer money for that job.” If it is built and operated by a private company and it is profitable, jobs are still created and the private business that took the financial risk of the project should pay some fair but small percentage of its profits to the government coffers. Since the government received some extra money in taxes from this project, the Republicans would then try to lower the income tax rate for all people in the workforce and pass this profit on to them instead of allowing the government to spend it on the next feasibility study for the next bridge the Democrats want to build. Pretty soon, the poor folk (because of their lower taxes) will have a little more money in their pockets making it possible for them to also use (if they choose to do so) the bridge and receive the benefit of saving a little travel time each day. As more people use the bridge, the private business' profits increase as does its tax bill.

Republicans are also those who put forward the pressler amendment. Rep. are also those who put Pakistan under sanctions after they blew Zia Ul Haq up. Republicans are no better than democracts when it comes to issues for Pakistan. We need start depending on ourselves and not on the US and other nations to bail us out.

As for the thread. Bush is gonna get to do all he wants now. CAIR is gonna have its hands full if its not overloaded. Whatever happened to those 1000 muslims arrested after Sept 11th? Sharon is already talking about taking Iran out. I wonder what Jr. thinks about that. First Iraq the Iran and then we see any govt that does not get the US seal of approval go down.

Hey c'om man no one here is so motivated against Paksitan. Thank you for telling us that the republicans blew up Zia.

About what is next, I believe no one will be next if Saddam acts as a smart man and disarms. If Irans acts smart and hide all of its oil.

After that what North Korea, I don't think they gonna go after them because

The've got no Oil. (It's an AOL version)

Bush is not after oil, he is going to drill in Alaska and sooner or later this country will not be dependent over Middle East oil any more.

About Pakistan, I think after getting so much aid things should start working better.

Im smiling here. This is why the American way works. We can think differently and still get alone.

Oh sorry I meant voters

Hmmm... yeah..the Repubicans are the ones who..privatised gas and utilities in California?

oh.. oh yeah..Enron?

And voted against medicare paying for medical perscriptions. But..a tiny raise in ssi payments now..increases the odds for a Vote?

So..darn...all those people who worked at Enron for so long... end up empty-handed., or actually. Us taxpayers will bail em out. Just like we bailed out the banks. Think the RTC.

And forget about the fact that they want to privatize social-security for the retirees. Umm? when they do? whats happens to all the money I paid for the last 20 years? Oh I know, a sure fire casualty.

And the invest options I chose? Wow? I wonder what companies will be gaining fake earnings on my retirement money?

Tax payers money all that kind of American money go to Isreal. American $10 million aid to Isreal Every Day. This money help them to buy weapons, bullets, tanks and other air facilities to bomb Arafat's compound.

I dislike the Republican agenda.

So far, I haven't seen them do anything I would feel good about doing.

The news talks about how..sinse the republicans kind of swept the elections that everyone in the U.S. agrees with them.

Hey..in my state...The republican and democrat results were 50/49. The republican barely won. It definately wasn't a landslide.
