armughal, just so we are clear on this, you are saying the wahi can be bestowed upon ordinary people (ok, spiritual people) but they are not prophets. Right?
If yes, is it actually a core suni belief or just yours?

wahee has been sent upon Maryam (as), mother of Moosa (as), on the bee as well as Quran mentions....
this is what Quran says, i or any other sunni does not have any reason to go against the Quran....
but let us not mean that wahee means that the person becomes a prophet or that it wud mean that he can now deviate from the Shariah....
u never know what he thinks is wahee is just a thought inspired by the satan....
